Who has snow?

We ended up just getting rain, but about 1.75 hours north of us got several inches.

Re: Who has snow?

  • None here yet. The storm is supposed to start around 6 tonight with rain and then we're expecting 2-4" of slushy snow over night.

  • We had rain this morning and things are starting to dry up. I just got back from a run/walk.

  • We have snow here in PA. It started raining in the middle of the night and turned into snow at about 10:00 this morning. Now, it's sleet. The roads/sidewalks/walkways here are a mess. The kids were dressed and ready to go out as soon as they saw the first snowflake!

  • Well, it started raining here earlier than I expected. The rain started around 1:30 and the temperature dropped from 48 to 41 within a matter of minutes. It won't be long before it's in the 30s, I'm sure. :(

  • We have three inches already and the power just went out! Ugh!

  • Started around 1:30ish up here... sticking at this point, but no real accumulation yet.
  • Shockingly, it's actually pretty bad here.  and since it was supposed to be no big deal everyone was out and about.  We went out to lunch and there were HUGE flakes and it was come down hard.   We left lunch and it was like a different world - trees/branches down in every yard, no power for a huge section of a main road (where the grocery store is and we attempted to go to).

We ended up just going to a tiny store in town and getting milk for Jane and heading home.  We're home now for the day and praying our power stays on.  I am not optimistic though given how heavy and wet the snow is, the leaves all still on the trees, the wind and our proximity to the coast, etc.
  • We woke up to a hard freeze but it's sunny and 50 now.

I have heard (and read) that OC is getting hit very hard right now. However, I am up in Rochester for a wedding, and there is NO snow here. hahahaha. I find it kind of ironic that traveling to Rochester (snow capitol of the world) got me out of the snow for the weekend, although I am sure there will still be some on the ground when I get home tomorrow. Hope you don't lose your power!!
