Must Do in NYC (I know I asked before...)
..but I lost the thread! I had copied and saved it, but I can't remember where. I'm thinking it was on my last work computer
So, if you have any must see/do things in NYC, let me have them! Attractions, food, whatever. I'd love to get in to all the boroughs if possible, too, so anything goes. We're staying near the Empire State Building and plan to use the subway and our feet for transportation. We'll be there 11/30-12/4.

Hey, where are you guys staying again?
We're on call once I get my written offer to finally start getting some things reserved.
The Hilton Garden Inn New York/West 35th Street
We kept waiting for a deal to pop up at somewhere acceptable (i.e. no bed bugs and good reviews for cleanliness) and nothing was happening so we ended up spending more than we originally wanted, but I think it was a good choice and not too bad for the location.

Those are both on my list so far.
We're going to see the the Christmas Special at Radio City Music Hall. If we have time, I think we will try to get day of tickets to something else.
I think I have a good idea of our must do things, I just don't want to miss anything because who knows when we'll be there again.

Skating is on my list, too. I've never been ice skating before so it will be fun to do it for the first time there. Yeah, when I googled Staten Island, nothing came up to do. We'll probably skip that one. All the other boroughs at least have one thing that sounded cool to me. Not sure if we will make it to them all, but I'd like to try.

These are all places I have bookmarked from when we were thinking of going to NYC. Also the Tenement Museum, but you've already mention that. Oh, and the Highline? Bridge or walkway, whatever it is called. Though, maybe not in winter.

I went to Ellis Island and Liberty Island yesterday as a chaperone on a field trip and absolutely LOVED it. I could have spent an entire 8-10 hour day there
For food, you MUST MUST MUST go to the Pommes Frites store... they sell Belgian fries that are unbelievable. DH and I almost made an impromptu 3 hour each way trip just to get these a few weeks ago. When we go to NYC we each get a small cone for our lunch and it is sooo good! And cheap!
