Click poll - Xmas cards #3

Re: Click poll - Xmas cards #3

  • I love getting paper cards and prefer them to e-cards.  However, if I received an e-card, I wouldn't think unhappy thoughts necessarily, but I do place less "sentimental value" on e-cards.
  • I like to display all of my cards so it does make me slightly unhappy.  But only for that reason. I don't think of the person as cheap and inconsiderate or anything like that.
  • F'ing bastards.

    Just kidding.

  • Cards in person feel more personal to me. In today's tech filled word a card that I can hold and real is more appreciated to me.
  • I love hanging up non-ecards as well. It adds a little extra cheer to the house around that season. Plus I love getting fun things in the mail, so I LOVE holiday cards.
  • I didn't answer the poll because I've never received a Christmas e-card! I actually had never stopped to consider that such a thing might exist. Honestly, if I got one, I would probably grimace a bit.

I'd probably feel indifferent about it, not really caring one way or the other.  It'd just get deleted, kind of how the actual cards get tossed in the recycle bin after xmas.

  • I'd prefer a real card because it is nice to get something other than bills & CC apps in the mail. I haven't ever received an e-card though, except for from my friend in the Czech Republic.
