This show seems really awesome. DH and I loved it much more than the Once Upon A Time show.
Re: Anyone watch Grimm?
I'll keep watching, but I liked Once more.
He can't keep shooting every bad guy though, can he? I feel like all the cop shows show the detective/officer/etc going into therapy/psych evils for having to shoot someone and this guy shoots two in one episode? It'll be weird if he just keeps killing them all under the guise of his job.
I was expecting the girlfriend to change. She creeps me out for some reason.
I can't decide if all the little mentions to other fairy tales is cheesy or fun. Things like "I can't keep crying wolf.."
I hope next week is better. I was really excited for this show.
I also liked Grimm better than OUaT. (OUT? Is it better w/o the 'a'? I dunno...) I prefer gritty crime drama to sweeping epic.
Both, however, are a poor, poor substitute for Fables, which is both crime drama and epic. (You can read the story arc section of the wiki entry safely). I am sooooo disappointed that I'm not getting that instead.
I liked it, but I dont think you can compare it to OUaT. They might be both centered around fairy tales, but one is a crime drama and one isn't.
I really liked it. Its like Supernatural, but with fairy tale characters.
agreed.
i didn't like grimm.
super cheesy!
actually, i thought the whole wolf/bluebot (sp?) thing was dumb (the guy peeing outside, hanging his head out of the window while driving, sniffing, etc.). i get why he was doing those things...it was just gross and weird all at the same time.
I enjoyed Grimm, but I dont know if it is a must see. If I am home, I will watch it, but I may not add it to the DVR list. I also dont think it would be the end of the world if I missed one episode.
Once upon... is not comparable (totally different type of show) = I like it too. I think it is more of a show you cannot miss.
I am just honestly stoked that there are a few more shows on during the week that I actually look forward to watching. It was slim pickings for a while. I was down to only watching TVD, Secret Circle, and Revenge.
I think OUAT is much better. I watched Grimm once and won't be tuning in again unless there is nothing else on.
