This has been asked a million times, but I never read the posts.
Which is better; a potty chair or potty ring that goes over the toilet?
DH thinks we need to get G a potty chair. She talks and asks about going pee or poop all the time. Tonight she asked to actually sit on the potty. I think she's just copying us, but we'll see.
I made a poll so it's easy to answer :-)

Re: Potty Question
I agree. Ana learned on both. It also helps when out and about so that she isn't afraid of a big potty.
The one drawback to the ring is that it's etching the white off of our regular toilet seat but that's easily fixable later on.

I agree both are a good idea. T used the potty chair at first because we made a big deal about it when the music went off. But I would never let him #2 in it. So now just used to big botty with out a ring.
I agree- both. Kade loves to hear the music, however one of my new "mommy raves" is the toilet seat I asked for for my birthday (I know right!?!?!). I don't have to have a ring laying in my bathroom (which is already low on space) plus the potty chair. I love it and so does K! Ours is something like this-we got it at Home Depot and has soft close
