I feel like such a wino

This summer, DH and I started going to local vineyards for wine tastings and accumulated several bottles of our favorites. Now we've finished a lot of those bottles and want more, specifically for the wine tasting party we're having next weekend, but we don't want to have to drive to some of the vineyards that are further away. I've got a list of stores that are supposed to sell the wines that we're looking for and have been driving and calling around all morning and none of them actually have the wines they're supposed to. I really wanted to have two of them in particular for the party, but it's not looking like I will unless I drive back to the vineyard (an hour away). Bummer.

  • I'm currently doing almost the same thing but with different pumpkin beers. There are so many I want to try, and not just the Michelob version--I want the good stuff!

Do you have Shipyard where you are? It's a Maine brewery and their pumpkin ale is really popular around here in the fall. They serve it with a cinnamon/sugar rim. I'm not a beer drinker, but even I will order one of those on occasion.

  • I've never seen it here, but that sounds awesome! I will have to add that to the list of brands to look for. Cinnamon/sugar rim is definitely something I would love!
