rainy sunday plans?
we just got back from brunch at table 219 (quite yummy!), and now I need to make sugar cookies (need to let the butter soften first), and finish cleaning the house. I'm so happy that our closet is almost clean.

i don't really like cats, and i'm deathly allergic to them...but i love my little-brother-kitty so much..i snuggle with him every night

I am trying to do some cleaning around here and watching redzone and my fantasy football team struggle to survive! In a few minutes we are going to watch the Hawks game (for how long I don't know!)... Speaking of kitty can I show my lovely? He has been a sleepy lil monkey all week!

i worked all morning, went to the gym, finished a book. and now i wanna take a nap. but it's almost dinner time and almost bed time.
i feel sooo lazy today!
We just got home from the Seahawks pathetic game.
Tonight's plan includes an easy, warm dinner of grilled onion sandwiches and homemade tomato soup and watching the new Top Chef.

I forgot we had the rest of our tomatoes (about 5 lb) to clean, cut and turn into sauce, so i spend a long time doing that this afternoon. Not my favorite way to spend an afternoon, but it's done (well, they're still cooking down) and we'll have yummy sauce soon.
I still have some chores to do, and after dinner i'm thinking about watching a movie and carving a pumpkin. Would normally do that with DH but he's a grump.* I still want to do it though, so his loss, right?
*We've divided up household responsibilities and one of mine is laundry. He often fails to put it in the hamper and instead leaves it next to the hamper (or socks, esp. on his office floor). My job is providing him properly laundered clothing, not cleaning up after him. Similarly, his job is to clean and put away the dishes, not collect stray mugs from my office. Today i told him i was starting the laundry and reminded him i'd be doing all the laundry i could find in hampers. He got huffy and pouted that he was in the middle of something and it's so annoying that i made it so urgent. I told him it wasn't urgent; in fact, he's had all week to put his laundry IN the hamper, and i was just giving him another opportunity to have them washed, instead of simply leaving them. Anyway, he's been lame about it all afternoon.
ETA: And clearly i'm being a bit of a whiny baby about it, too!

We got coffee and went for a drive, checking out potential future neighborhoods for us. Then went to watch the game at my sisters. Now we're home and DH is watching Vick whoop the Cowgirls (that's what they're called in our house). Lazy Sunday.
