Do you want a sister wife?
I am a bit sad that I dont get to watch Sister Wives. I have seen them do some interviews but I have never seen their show.
If I had a sister wife now, she would be doing the dishes while I could just sit here and nest.
So do you think polygamy should be illegal?

That show is pretty entertaining. I must admit.
I wouldn't mind one, but only to do the household chores. I don't want to share my H with her. I guess I could just get a maid.

As long as they aren't marrying off young girls or forcing women into a marriage, then I couldn't care less how many wives someone has. As long as their marriages follow the same age restrictions and consent laws as any other marriage, who cares?
I would rather have a maid than a sister wife though. I don't get enough time with H as it is. I am jealous of a football game, so I cannot imagine how I would be if I were competing for attention against another woman and not just tv programming!
This. I just got finished reading "19th Wife" which is a cross between a fictional account of Ann Eliza Young (Brigham Young's official 19th wife) and a modern crime story in a polygamous sect. Not that I was ever for polygamy in the first place, but that just painted a really clear picture about having to watch as your husband finds successively younger wives and "visits your bed" less and less frequently and how painful that often is. When my husband is home I'm ok with him dividing his attention between me, DD, and the housework. Another woman? No way.
I don't want a sister wife. I want a maid and someone to do my grocery shopping, but that's the extent of it.
I couldn't handle anyone else sharing DH. I'm a very jealous spouse as it is, and a sister wife would just make it so much worse.
Polygamy in my eyes is fine as long as everyone is a consenting adult.

Also I don't understand how the law goes after these people if polygamy is illegal, only the 1st wife is legal everyone else is a mistress. As far as I know having a mistress is not illegal so what is the issue. Everyone is of age, no harm no foul right?
I do not want a sister wife, I would also get jealous. I would LOVE a maid, a cook, a nanny (when we have kids), and a personal trainer.
