Hello ladies. I'm an Ok nestie in need of recommendations on great hotels, restaurants, and fun activities in the University of Texas at Arlington area. Dallas area restaurants too please. Thanks

Re: Recommendations please
Resturants I don't know exactly what you are looking for but there is a ton of resturants by the Arlington Highlands which is close to UTA. In that area they have some sushi places and such, but it all depends on what you are looking for.
Hotels I'm not sure where you want to be or how long you want to travel or the budget. There are a lot of neighboring cities so they have a lot of variety.
Fun activites - I'm always terrible at this. There are a few art museums, the JFK memorial, concerts, shows, and those sorts of things especially in Dallas. As much as I love Arlington our town doesn't have a whole lot beside the Cowboys and Rangers staduims. There is a country club there called Cowboys.

I am at UTA every day. Let me know what your budget is for these things and I will help you.
Dallas is not my area, so I'm no help there.
The Fairmont in Downtown Dallas sometimes has rooms for $99 a night. You can also use Priceline--just make sure you have your settings for the specific neighborhood, otherwise, you may end up in a not so great part of town. We routinely get a room at the Hyatt at DFW for about $50 a night. It's a very nice hotel and fairly centrally located.
Restaurants in Dallas we like:
Campisi's (Italian), Blue Mesa (Southwestern), Cyndi's (breakfast/diner), Tupinamba's (Mexican), Twisted Root (burgers), Burger House (also burgers), Luna de Noche (Mexican), Maggiano's (Italian), III Forks (steaks and pretty expensive).
In Dallas, just as others said there are some great museums but our favorite is Old Red. It's the old Dallas County Courthouse and it's a museum dedicated to the history of Dallas County. It doesn't take itself too seriously so it's pretty entertaining.
If you decide to go into Fort Worth, they have a Caravaggio exhibit right now at the Kimbell. One of our favorite FW restaurants is Daddy Jack's. It's seafood. Yummmmmy.
