anyone used Vamoose bus?

They have a half-off deal on Groupon today--$30 for the DC-NYC bus. I usually take the train, but this is super cheap. We've got friends there we'd like to visit and this would make the hotel cost doable.

Any experiences?

Here's the link if you're interested.

Re: anyone used Vamoose bus?

  • Vamoose is great! I've taken it a few times and for the price, it's a great experience. The bus is usually quiet, on time, and convenient to pick up right near the Bethesda metro :)

  • I took the Vamoose a year ago and would recommend it. It was quiet, clean and reliable and I liked the Bethesda pickup / dropoff option. It didn't have places to plug in like some other NYC buses but that would be the only complaint. If you are bringing the LO know that the bus did not stop en route so have everything you need on board.

  • I've taken it by myself to meet up with DH in NYC :) It was a good experience
