Enjoy that candy today. Anyone dressing up?

Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Re: Happy Halloween!
Haha, we totally busted in to our candy supply during the storm. But we should still have enough, and if not, we'll just shut the light off when we're out. Sorry late comers, but mama needed a sugar fix! heh.
Hahaha, love it!
Dr.L, love the pics from your photo session, especially the one in your new siggy
We're being total party poopers this year and aren't handing out candy. We have our volleyball league tonight and won't be home until past ToT time.
Happy Halloween!!
I got a huge bag of candy, that we'll end up eating in the dark
This is crazy! I can't believe towns are cancelling instead of just postponing. What a bummer for the kids.
Why do ghosts not pro-create?

Because they have "hollow weenies!!"
BOO!
That just made my day! Thanks Punky!
I'm lucky... spent my day at school teaching and my afternoon was all little ones (Kindergarten and First grade...) It's so much fun to see real joy on kids faces! They were so excited for tonight. Angry Birds, Harry Potter characters, and generic skeletons or fairies all seemed to be very popular. Kit Kats seemed to be one of the top candies of choice, according to my "official" chicken puppet poll of my little monsters today. I wish I could have spent more time handing out candy in my neighborhood. I had rehearsal tonight, so I only got to sit outside for about 15 minutes. OMG... so many cute costumes. I love my neighborhood at Halloween. Usually I hang some lanterns in my tree, make some appetizers and open a bottle of wine and just hang out with the neighbors in my building, but I had to run off tonight.
Hope others had a good time!
We had no trick-or-treaters at my mother's. I put DS in a cow costume to go out to dinner with my father, which DS hated and half way through dinner he removed it. Since I suspected it would go down like that, I dressed him in skeleton pjs underneath.
LOL, it's entirely possible we did the same thing last year! And just like last year people rang our doorbell even though we didn't have the porch lights on. Does the porch light rule not exist anymore???
I was home for all of 1/2 an hour maybe so I could change, throw some stuff in a bag, and head out to volleyball. I actually love seeing kids in their costumes so I'll have to try to plan better next year, haha!
