  • On Tuesday, I plan to attach electrodes to the brain of a rhesus monkey to see if I can make him void his bladder in his pants.

On Thursday, Sheldon and I will be attending a symposium of one Daniel J. Levitin, Ph.D., regarding his so-called "Levitin Effect."

On Friday, I'm looking forward to girl's night out with Penny and Bernadette! I'm really hoping that it will be the night that Bernadette asks Penny and I to be her bridesmaids in her wedding to Howard.

  • I'll be working all week on a new campaign for Samsonite. So far, everything that's been brought to my desk has been bullsh!t. We need something incredible, something new. Something that shows how the material from which this new luggage is being made will change the travel industry forever. We need to romanticize not just traveling, but the process itself.  We can show a woman, all legs, walking down the aisle of a plane to her seat where she finds that a mysterious man in a suit will be seated next to her for the flight. He stands and helps her put her Samsonite suitcase in the overhead compartment and....

No one else is coming up with this stuff. There aren't elves that do this. No one else can do what we do and they hate us for it. We need to make them hate us for the job that we are capable of doing.

  • Quinn is having yet another fashion club meeting here at home, so I am bannished to my room. Jane will most likely come over to watch sick, sad, world and I will sit and daydream about how much I like Trent.

But of course I will never tell anyone and just go around being a cynical teenager.

  • Happy Halloween! I'm really looking forward to taking Ellie out trick or treating tonight with my nephews. Can't wait to show off pics!

The rest of the week is kind of slow. Can't believe it's already November and time to get ready for Thanksgiving!

  • I'm excited to wash the crap out of my hair tonight- I'm itchy!

Also, one of my law school friends is coming Thursday night.  Can't wait for girl time and shopping!

  • Not a whole lot going on this week.

Tomorrow we're going down to Providence to go out to dinner for my mom's birthday.

Saturday I'm getting together with friends in the afternoon

Sunday we're going to the Patriots/Giants game.

  • Halloween of course

Tuesday is my online book club. We're reading The Death of Ivan Ilyich. Tolstoy was such a tattered soul.

Wednesday there's a mini-marathon of Antiques Roadhouse I'll definitely catch.

Friday is our science fair at school. I'll be using a helicopter to show Bernoulli's priniciple, the laws of motion, and other aerodynamical physics principals. I'm feeling pretty confident about it. Last year, the kid who won used baking soda and vinegar to erupt a volcano. Sure, it was a showstopper, but can someone please explain to me what that teaches anyone about the geological principles of magma?

I've learned a few things in my 12 years. Don't skimp of linens. Don't compliment a teacher on her figure. And when it comes to my mom, don't ask questions you don't want the answers to.
  • Edward should be home from his hunting trip tomorrow night.  So, I think on Wednesday we might take Renesme to La Push to see Jake and Seth.

  • My restaurant is finally closed for the seasonnnnn!!!

I'm currently making a shopping list for the week with some yummy new recipes planned for dinner, so I'm excited for those.

We need to keep the house tidy and get some errands out of the way.

Hopefully go into labor this week, but we'll see.

  • This is Halloween, this is Halloween...

Dressing Sam up and heading over to our friends' neighborhood so that we can capitalize on our young children not knowing what Halloween is all about and get their candy.  Also sitting out on their porch and drinking hot drinks while we give out candy to the other neighborhood kids it a highlight.

Other than that, this week is pretty tame.

The party we were supposed to go to this past Saturday night was cancelled due to snow and a power outage, so I think they're going to reschedule for this Saturday night.  We shall see....

  • Monday: I'll probably spend the night cleaning smashed pumpkins up off sidewalk or cleaning toilet paper from trees.

Wednesday: I'm having some moles removed. It's likely melanoma.

Friday: There's a new 20/20 special I'll have to catch. You know, on average in the US, 3 women are murdered by their husbands every day.

I have been waiting to see this. But first I have to catch this important news story:

"They bake cookies by day, but they really heat up at night! G-string grandmas, today on Sick, Sad World."

How dreadfully embarrassing! I've edited my mistakes. Homophones have always been a struggle for me. I'm English as a Second Language, you know.

Thanks nunu for quoting them. Now they're eternally pinpointing my shortcoming for all to see. Appreciate it.
