how do i turn on gas heaters!?
i think i turned on my ancient thermostat. i know they have to be bleed but i don't have a key at the moment. they should produce heat though? i didn't hear anything turn on.
my FIL is MIA and he is my heat guy.

Can you hear the furnace switch on? I always hear a 'click' each time the furnace kicks on.
Do you have radiators? Mine take about 15-20 minutes to start warming up.

i couldn't hear it. but they are on now! we have 1960s state of the art heater set by time but it isn't digital, i didn't shift both levers so day time heat was not turning on.
i can feel the heaters. pssh my cats are like finally.
Unless you have a boiler, which you can't hear unless you happen to be standing next to it when it turns on and sounds like...gas meeting a flame ...
