Halloween is marketed towards children. It's a night for them to get dressed up and revel in being able to be someone or something else for a few hours. Me, I've spent my whole life being someone else so tonight I will sit at a bar with Roger and drink until I can be myself again. A man who is long forgotten and barely missed. A man who can make magic with his words and images but whose own magic has been stolen from him by war, women and alcohol. I can't change the past and that eats at me inside. And I hate to break it to you, but there is no big lie. There is no system. The entire universe is indifferent.
Edward turning me was realy the greatest moment of my life. I mean, yeah, sometimes, it's really tough when Charlie comes to visit and I've lost a lot of my friends down at the Rez, but knowing Edward and I will be together forever. It's really the most precious gift he could have ever given me.
I will be donning the attire of "Bad Sandy" from the film "Grease."
I find being cast in the role of "bad girl" oddly titillating.
Dearest Bella, maybe next time Edward is off "hunting" you and I should get together. I have a new french press coffee machine. Hogwarts is having a Halloween Ball. I think I need new dress robes for it. I've asked Viktor to be my date, I'm hoping it makes Ron jealous because he didn't think to ask me first. He can be so thick sometimes.
I...uh...I mean, I um...I'm not so sure that's a good idea. I'll have to ask Edward. He doesn't really like me spending time with anyone that's not a Cullen. After Victoria and Laurent and the Volturi incidents he's really protective of me.
