s/o age differences

Totally AWish, but fun figures.

My mother is 18 years older than my MIL, who is only 15 years older than me. (I have cousins older than my MIL.)

I am 6 years older than DH, 8 years older tan his brother, and 10 years older than his sister.

SIL's BF is 2 years younger than her (12 years younger than me). My BIL's GF is 16 years younger than me.

I am closer in age to my MIL than my FSIL.

FSIL's mother is a month younger than my sister.

Mum to W (4) and M (nearly 2)

Re: s/o age differences

  • That is confusing.  How old is your MIL?

Yeah this reminds me of those logic games I had to do on the LSAT.

  • My dad is 7 mos older than my mom.

FIL is 4 years older than MIL.

BIL is 8 mos older than my sister.

    SIL is single.

  • My father-in-law is 2 years younger than my maternal grandparents, who are seventeen years younger than my paternal grandparents.

  • Wow, that IS confusing. Our little family is super straightforward compared to that - my mom, MIL and FIL are all 65 and my dad is 6 years older than them all. My DH and SIL are 2 years apart and I am right in the middle, DS is right in the middle of his cousins.

  • Fun but confusing. I guess I don't focus on age much. :)

I am 8 years older than my DH, but I am the same age as his sister and I am 11 years older than his brother. His parents are about 10 years older than my parents were.

  • I'm closer in age to my niece than I am to my sister (her mother). Niece and I are 13 years apart, sister and I are 16 years apart.

  • Ohhh, fun game!

My FIL is a year and a half older than my grandma. MIL is right between my parents and my grandma (8 years both ways). My parents are 20 years older than FH, 16 years older than SIL. SIL is right in the middle (16 years both ways) of my dad and my brother (I'm 2 years older than my brother.)

On the other (my mom's side) of the family, it's even worse. She is the youngest of 8 children, all boys except for her. My mom's youngest brother is 7 years older than her, her oldest nephew is 7 years younger than she is. His oldest son (her great-nephew), is a year younger than me, a year older than my brother. A bunch of my mom's nephews and nieces are already grandparents (but she isn't).

  • I'm 6 months younger than my cousin's son: my aunt (mum's older sister) had my cousin at 20, cousin had her son at 18 & my mother had me at 39...

My mum is exacty 10 years minus two days older than MIL.

DH and I are a little over a month apart (he's older).
