Happy Halloween!

What kind of fun Halloween events took place this weekend? Is anyone dressed up at work today? Who's going T-O-T'ing tonight? Who's passing out candy or avoiding the T-O-T'ers?

Re: Happy Halloween!

  • We are having the family over for "spooky" snacks.  Then some will go trick or treat.  I'm gonna stay and pass out candy.  I didn't do anything Halloweeny over the weekend.
  • We'll be sitting at home tonight w/our mounds and mounds of candy waiting for the kids. They wipe us out every year. Our neighborhhood is like a trick or treating heaven. It's a one mile loop with probably 200-ish houses so they start from their front doors head out one way, loop around, hit every house and make out like bandits by the time they circle back to their houses. Lots of young families so we spend a ton in candy every year.

  • I didn't do anything Halloween related over the weekend. Usually my company lets people dress up within certain guidelines but this year no one said anything. I wouldn't have dressed up anyway.

I've got 2 huge bags of M&M'S packs to give out tonight. I hope we get a good bit of T-O-T'ers. If not I'll be bringing the candy to work to give away.

  • I think I'll be taking my 4 year old brother TOTing, the 6 year old has been sick all weekend.
  • I dressed up yesterday for a church festival and I'm doing a second festival tonight immediately after work. Im a black cat. Tonight I'm wearing shorts and rights instead of black skinnies though because I got really hot last night with all the running around.

I won't be passing out candy unless we get any TOTers after we get home from the festival, but I doubt we will, we never get them. Although this year I did decorate the front yard, so Im hoping no one had their expectations up.

  • No Halloween stuff over the weekend. Plan to take DS to see the neighbors tonight, then head back home to pass out candy.

  • DH and I went to a Halloween party on Saturday night. We were bacon and eggs. I plan on hiding tonight and not answering the door... not that I think anyone will TOT at our apartment.
  • DD and I went to my bro and SIL's Halloween party on Saturday.  DH was sick this weekend so he didn't go with us.  DD is wearing a cute Halloween dress today.  I'm just wearing jeans and a fuchsia shirt today, nothing Halloweeny.  We'll take DD TOTing tonight.  Since we're taking her out, we won't be home to pass out candy.  Once we get home with her, the porch light stays off.  I do not need TOTers ringing the doorbell and waking her up after she goes to bed.

  • Yesterday I carved my pumpkin and had a photosession with a local rock star aka muh dog.

I have my Halloweeny nails today plus my pumpkin-antennae headband..

Tonight we'll probably sit at the end of the driveway and beg children to come take our candy. I am so jealous of you, cseale!  If it rains we'll probably turn the light off so C doesn't go bonkers at the doorbell. We are boarding him on Fri so I'd feel extra bad for stressing him out.
