What were some of your favorite costumes that you wore as a child? My brother and I dressed up like Bert and Ernie one year and I always loved dressing up as a princess.
Any other Halloween things you'd like to share with us? We are taking AJ to a few neighbors tonight, he will be wearing a football uniform.

What is the best/funniest/most creative costume you've seen? hmm...i haven't seen much this year, but i totally wanted to be the honey badger for halloween!
Do you dress up at work? when i worked i didn't....but i usually wore black and orange. and whenever halloween landed on the weekend, usually at the end of the 11pm show the anchor/sports/weather people would put on costumes real quick...super cute
How many trick or treaters do you typically get? maybe 5. it's super sad, but i don't think many people in our neighborhood give out candy, and we don't have many kids anyhow.

What were some of your favorite costumes that you wore as a child? i was a gypsy one year, with this white dress i got to wear off my shoulders, and i thought i was awesome. my sis and i always had a lot of dress-up clothes my grandmother made us, so a lot of years we'd wear one of those dresses and a tiara, or a mask, or something

What is the best/funniest/most creative costume you've seen? Honestly, I don't really care about Halloween costumes. Maybe it's because we go to Dragon*Con every year and the cosplay there is serious. The work people put into their costumes is amazing. The video game BioShock features these giant robots called "Big Daddies" and is set underwater. Someone has made a fantastic one and did a photoshoot at the aquarium. That's probably the most impressive costume I've seen.
Do you dress up at work? Nope. I used to at my last job just because everybody did.
How many trick or treaters do you typically get? If it's not raining - a ton. We get together with our neighbors in the cul-de-sac and give out candy with them. The kids love it - they just go down the line of lawn chairs!
What is your favorite scary movie? I can't watch scary movies
What is your favorite candy? candy bars - the good kind - not the crap no-name stuff.
What were some of your favorite costumes that you wore as a child? In 6th grade - my last year of trick-or-treating, I went as a black cat. My mom helped me spray my very blonde hair jet black. I wore a little cat mask, a leotard, tights, a skirt, and my mom made fur cuffs and a tail. The best part was surprising one of my teachers who lived in the neighborhood. She freaked at my black hair!
Any other Halloween things you'd like to share with us? I'm a firm believer that trick-or-treating is for kids and once you are past elementary school (5th grade now, 6th grade for us old-fogies before the days of "middle school"), you shouldn't go anymore. It was always a right of passage - once you went to a different school, you left the trick-or-treating to the little kids. I always give crap candy to the older kids - especially the high-schoolers who don't even dress up and carry around a pillow case. No good candy for you! I also can't stand lazy parents who drive along behind their kids.What is the best/funniest/most creative costume you've seen? one of my (male) friends was skeletor. he got in mad shape and painted his whole body blue. it was kind of awesome

What were some of your favorite costumes that you wore as a child? i always wanted to be the genie/gypsy but my mom didn't like it for a child so i usually ended up as a cat or witch

What is the best/funniest/most creative costume you've seen? A friend of a friend dresser up exactly like Darth Maul. He's an MMA fighter so he's very good.
Do you dress up at work? nope. I guess I would if others did. I did wear my halloween fasciantor today. Its SUPER cute.
How many trick or treaters do you typically get? dunno. We usually go visit the ILs or my parents to carve pumpkins.
What is your favorite scary movie? I don't like (but do watch) the super scary ones: Resident Evil, Dawn of the Dead, The Ring, etc. My favorite zombie movie is definitely Shaun of the Dead. I can quote the entire movie.
What is your favorite candy? C'mon now. Chocolate rules! Hershey's Special Dark, Reese's peanut butter cups, Kit Kat, Milky Way, Milk chocolate bars... its all good.
What were some of your favorite costumes that you wore as a child? I'm sure I never got really creative. Always the easy go-to's: ghost, witch, etc
