I really don't follow this stuff and I've never watched the show, but seriously?
They're getting divorced after 72 DAYS.
On Twitter they did the calculations and based on the money they got for selling the rights to the wedding ($17 million) that works out to $10,358/hour.

sickened? absolutely.
Pretty much this. One day of her marriage costs more than my undergrad and professional schooling.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Surprised? No way! If the wedding cost $10m (and did they pay for it or did was it sponsored?) and they made $17m selling the rights, that is not a bad profit for a few months.
It seems like this was one of those relationships that got caught up in the "wedding" versus preparing for the marriage.
In watching some of the episodes, it seems Kris had a few red flags he chose to ignore.
This exactly. It's sickening, but it's not surprising. At least they stayed together longer than Britney and her first husband (divorcing the next day? for real?).

I really like the Kardashians, and I didn't mind Kris. To me, the whole thing started going downhill was when the whole family was on vacation and Kris was just finding out Kim had been married before.

Plus I think she realized that her husband is going to be out of work with the NBA lockout and decided she didn't want to support a medicore, overpaid basketball player.
Yea, namely right before he was going to propose to her the first time. They were on their way to the family dinner and were talking about money, and she brought up how his apt. in NY is like a college dorm and she can't lower her standards of living that much. That was a huge red flag.
I just find it sad, and hope that she can find true and lasting love some day, because everyone deserves that.

one of my fb friends pointed out today that it's unfair these kinds of yahoos can get married and divorced and make a mockery of the act of marriage, but gay people can't get married. i agree 100%.
