Funny DH
So, some of you might remember/know that I'm taking my DH on a cruise for Christmas as a surprise. I've been keeping it a secret for over a year now and am going to tell him on Thanksgiving. He's been wanting to go for a long time, but is the kind of guy to be all talk and no action. He thinks we're going to NYC to see my cousin for Christmas.
Last night I am commenting on how awesome it would be to see Belize and go snorkeling/scuba diving there. He says how he is so jealous that his best friend is going on a cruise. I say that we'll go someday, maybe when the kiddo is old enough to remember it.
"Yeah, like THAT will ever happen. We both know we'll never get to it."

I very well might figure out a way to record it. But my plan is to do it in between dinner and dessert on Thanksgiving, which is the day before his birthday. So we'll see!
Reason for keeping it a secret so long? I've been using my business profits to pay for it month by month in order to keep him from noticing. Usually I do something big for the house (furniture or a paved driveway), but this time I decided to splurge and send us on a "baby moon" (before I had even convinced DH that having a kid was a good idea in the first place).
Good job keeping the secret! It sounds like he will love this trip.
I am so bad at keeping secrets. Last year I bought him a PS3 on Black Friday and he got it mid December, I couldn't wait until Christmas. Oops.
