Ok ladies, I think I'm screwed but I'm going to ask anyway. I have a brother NV-1250D that has 6 fonts on it. I thought I could buy a font, upload and use that. Well, I did but the problem is, you have to do each letter individually and you can't make words. Do I have to have the embroidery software just to use the font I bought? Is there a way to to it online somewhere. I don't really have 1k to drop on software right now!
I'm so sad! I don't want to be limited to my 6 boring fonts!

Re: Embroidery font ?
I know next to nothing about embroidery machines, but, I've read rave reviews on Embird so many times on craft forums! It's supposed to be much easier to figure out than the $$$$ programs out there, and you can try it for a month free.
I have no idea if this will help you- but, figured it was worth posting, JIC.

Embird is definitely a favorite of many (myself NOT included, as I am the dope that dropped the $$$$ on the other software when I was a newb). I did give it the test drive though and I really thought that it was very user friendly.
That said, what font is it? and if you need something specific, quickly, I can do it for you and email it.
