I bet my monday can beat your monday
Wow. Today has just shaped up to be top notch (end sarcasm).
So today at work, the new job that I just got out here in IL, may be ending much sooner then I expected. It is kind of complicated, but I moved with a small company into a much larger company. The small company that I moved with is being sold off and my boss was up front and said that there is a 50/50 chance I won't have a position anymore when that happens, but he is in my corner and fighting for me. So basically he said that if he were me, I should hedge my bets and update my resume and start looking for jobs.
Then I get an email from my bank, there is unusual activity on my card, and I called, and low and behold, someone did have my card number and is using it. I have like no money in my account, so they didn't get far, and it didn't show up on my account log yet, but after he issued me a new card, and then was giving me the number to the fraud department to dispute the charges in case they do show up, my phone disconnected. I'm so exhausted right now, and all I can think of is I need to start looking around to see what is available job wise out there.
Anyways I would like to think that everything happens for a reason and it will all work out, it will just be tough for a while. I just need to vent for a bit.

I was just about to post that I need a WTF Monday.
First, WTF to my job--I came in this morning and found out that my project's deadline had been moved up from Thanksgiving to THIS FRIDAY.
WTF Mother Nature--I get my period a couple days early. At work. While wearing a white costume. With no emergency tampons around.
WTF self--I left the running lights on on my car when I came back from going out to lunch, so then my car battery was dead when I went to leave work, and I had to call a friend to get a jump since everyone else had already left.
And WTF roommate--why the hell did you unplug my crockpot so that my food (my lunch for the week!) was sitting out, without temperature control, all fvcking day while I was at work?!?!?! I had to throw out everything!
Did I mention it's my birthday? 25 fvcking sucks so far.
Wow...your monday rivals mine. and I think i thought the same thing when I turned 25. It just was not a good week for me. I don't remember specifics, but I just remember being disappointed.

I plan on it! I'm throwing a big party on Saturday night. Wanna come? My sister and her BF are coming from OOT, as is my best friend from college. Woo hoo!
I thought the same thing when I turned 25 too!! It was aweful. Nobody came to my party, I was miserable in my marriage (though I didn't fully realize it at the time). It gets better girl, I promise!
