NYC restaurant help around Times Square please
My husband is in NYC for a week for a conference at Colombia. He is staying at a hotel on 48th street near Times Square. Can anyone help me with suggestions for him on places to eat that are cheap to moderately priced in that area? He will be eating alone mostly so he doesn't want fancy restaurants. Maybe some good bar/pub suggestions where he could grab a beer and some food while watching a game? Or casual restaurants?
P.S. I did read the suggestions on the top of the board first for tips for NYC visitors but I have never visited NYC myself so its hard to know what restaurants are near him. Thank you for the help!

If he wants burgers, check out the Red Flame on 44th btwn 5th & 6th and of course Shake Shack on 8th and 44th or HB Burger on 43rd.
If he likes indian, Minar on 46th is dirt cheap and really yummy.
I also like Cafe Manhattan on 45th btwn 5th & 6th- tell him to go to the back and order a fresh brick oven sandwich- I love the eggplant parm there.
There are a bunch of irish pubs around 45th & 46th betwen bway & 6th- O'Brien's is pretty good.
