So... admittedly I've been pretty hard up for some dating action lately (as you probably can gather from my frustrated posts), but then on Saturday night at the party we went to I talked up a guy for a while, and we were both clearly interested in one another. He had to rush out fairly quickly because the people he came with were leaving -- he asked for my phone number and I gave it to him, he dialed the number (it looked like it was calling me) then saved it to his phone. When I got to my phone later, no missed call - I thought this was weird, but maybe he didn't actually dial me afterall, whatevs. At any rate, I still haven't heard from him and am thinking maybe he took my number down wrong. Should I try to track him down thru mutual friends, or is that weird? I'd really like to be able to finish our conversation, but I also don't want him to think I'm nuts for tracking him down. Advice, please!
Re: WWND?
Tracking him down makes you look really, really desperate.
If he calls he calls.
This post also reminds me of the episode of How I Met Your Mother (which I saw last night) where one of the guys finds his 'dream' girl by looking for the slutty pumpkin...

he tracked her down because he saw the slutty pumpkin costume in a store window and asked the owner if he had a ledger of who rented it. lol the guy said he did and that he had 2 marriage proposals from people tracking people down this way and 5 missing persons, but prefers to focus on the positive. lol
I agree with this. My friend really really thinks I should try tracking him down, and I feel like that just appears (and also feels to me) desperate.
This. He could get ahold of these friends if he wanted to. GL!!
