Getting Oil out of fabric

I use Neutrogena sesame oil daily unfortunately it doesn't come out of clothing to well.  I've tried Shout spray & gell, Tide, Oxclean sticks, Spray & Wash, etc.  Any suggestions?  TIA

Re: Getting Oil out of fabric

  • Lestoil.   It's made by Clorox, and is sold in the laundry aisle.   My mom used to use this to get my mechanic dad's clothes clean.   When I was a waitress, I used it to get salad dressing, etc all over my clothes.   This stuff works great on oil stains.

  • My grandma always used baby powder but I'm not sure how well it works if the item has already gone through the washer and dryer.
  • I've always had luck with using dish soap. Plain old Dawn.
  • Ditto on the Blue Dawn Dishsoap!  Works great for me...rub a little on the area and wash as usual.  Should come right out!
