i came in to work this morning to find that a young woman i mentor had passed away.
the circumstances are unknown right now, but she didn't show up for work yesterday and a missing persons report was filed. her body was found in her car in WVA yesterday. we dont' know what she was doing there, she tells everyone everything, to excess, and no one knew anything about her going there.
i am beyond devastated. i have mentored this young lady for the past 3 years and have seen her blossom from an angry, very hurt and emotionally abused teenager to a woman with career goals and on the road to emotional recovery.
i am in shock and just cannot believe she is gone. ;(
