iPhone problem?
I've had my iPhone for about four months. Last night my battery was very low, and finally it just shut itself off. Fine...so I plugged it in to charge overnight. Today, the screen is black except for the little white spinning circle thing--the icon that lets you know something is updating (make sense?). Phone doesn't respond to any buttons pressed or action taken. Any ideas on what to do? TIA...
(Totally lame post, sorry, but I've learned that Nesties can help in all kinds of situations!)

I've had a similar problem with mine in the past (I have a 3G). I think with mine it showed like a tiny bit of red for the battery when charging, and a little lightning bolt below it, but when I would take it off the charger, it would die completely - like it wouldn't hold a charge.
I took mine in to the apple store at Village Point and they put it on their equipment and everything showed that the battery was fine, but it wouldn't turn on for them either. They were just going to replace it saying it was just a dead phone, but mine's actually through my work, so I turned it back in and got a new one through work instead.
Have you tried resetting it? I think you can do this using the little silver 'poker' thing that came in the box, and press it in to the tiny hole to the right of the headphone jack. (you might want to look up somewhere else that this is in fact how to do that). Or just take it in to the Apple store and have them take a look at it!
