Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Halloween FAIL.
I couldn't get Quint to wear his adorable pumpkin costume.
He had no concept of Halloween. I've tried to explain it to him but he just looked at me like I have two heads. I kept telling him that if he would put his pumpkin on we'll go to the neighbors and get candy. He keeps walking over to the pantry and pointing out we have candy so we don't need to take the neighbors.
So after a long discussion, he told me that he would wear his fireman jacket (his rain jacket looks like a fireman's jacket) to go out and ask the neighbors for candy. Good thing too because it started pouring. We explained that he should ring the doorbell, when they answer, say Trick or Treat and smile really big. The first two houses, people were just waiting for us outside so he took the candy and kept going. At the third house, he rang the doorbell then when the door opened, proceeded to bust up in the guys house and try to go into his kitchen and find his candy. We had to go home after that because it was raining too hard.
We went home, and explained other people were going to come to our house and ask us for candy. So the doorbell rings, we answer, Quint screams TRICK OR TREAT then steals candy baskets. Oops.

I had the cutest little girl come by in a princess costume last night. She was about 3 years old and wouldn't come to the door to get candy from me until she saw Marilyn standing behind me. She then came right up, looked at Marilyn and said Happy Halloween doggie and opened her little candy bag. She was adorable.
