Anyone watching The Next Iron Chef on FN?
All I can say is this is an AWESOME group of chefs that they got for this season! Can't wait to see what they have them do! DH's favorite - Chef Robert Irvine. I like Chef Zakarian.

I am rooting for Alex Guarnaschelli, although I also like Michael Chiarello and Beau MacMillan a lot. I do not really care for Marcus Samuelsson or Robert Irvine. I was disappointed in Alex's complete meltdown in the first episode...and I was okay with who went home because I didn't see that person as being of the same caliber as those other chefs.

Agreed! He was quite the underdog of this cast, but still cooked his heart out. My DH and I LOVE TV cooking competitions - Top Chef, Chopped, etc.
So sad when they went home. I absolutely love them, and have for a long time. I LOVE Chef Irvine. I really hope he wins.
I agree with all of this...especially the bolded part. I was driving DH nuts complaining about him being not in the same league as the others.
I was so relieved to see him leave....I couldn't stand him on Top Chef, and I still don't care for or about him.lol
