My H's birthday is this Friday and I am completely at a loss for gift ideas. Last year was his 30th, so he bought himself a new set of golf clubs and I threw him a party.
This year, I have no clue. We are going out to a nice dinner, but I'd like to get him something as well. I'd love to buy him tix to the Winter Classic, but my chances of that are slim to nil.
I was thinking maybe a new watch, but I'm not sure if he will wear it. He's not into accessories aside from his wedding band (and even that is worn because of me).
My budget is around $300ish max. TIA!
Re: gift ideas for DH
Yeah-the Mr. Beer one sucks! If you are pressed for time there is a great store in Montgomeryville that sells beer AND wine starter brew kits-Keystone Homebrew.
They really know there stuff and are pretty reasonable!
This place is good. You could get him a kegging system as well, that was my husband's latest baby..er...addition to his brewing.
ooops, thanks, Heather for the reminder....duh, none of you know my DH!
He likes (and plays) hockey and golf, drinks wine and is a vodka snob.
I am intrigued by a wine starter kit, but I definitely won't be able to get to Montgomeryville by Friday. I will look for a closer store!
oooooh - I like the idea of lessons! Does anyone know if you have to be a member somewhere to get lessons?
I like the lessons idea, too. I'm not a golfer so I don't know if you need to be a member though.
Since he likes to drink wine, have you guys done wine tastings? Maybe a wine tasting/dinner and buying him a few bottles after?
How about an overnight trip somewhere, in addition to the nice dinner? Maybe at a B&B in Lancaster or New Hope, or maybe at a casino down Atlantic City?
