happy tuesday! not a whole lot going on today, and that makes me happy, i need a day to recoup. didn't get a whole lot of trick or treaters yesterday, which makes me sad. i miss my parents' house where they get literally-hundereds of kids. so cute, so adorable. my little 1yo niece *did* come by though and ohhh she is such a cutie. she smiled and laughed for me, and was dressed as an ice cream cone. she also said "DOG!" when she saw my doggies
. love her.
hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Re: good tuesday morning!
Good morning! We had a nice quiet evening, thankfully this year everyone respected that our outside light wasn't on!
Other than that since H wasn't feeling very good last night he tossed and turned all night, in the mean time I'm super tired now. ugh... should have gone to sleep somewhere else haha

Good morning. I was out sick yesterday but I am back today and feling so-so. We had one trick or treater come to the door. I know we don't get many but more than one would be nice.
I need to lay out the work that needs to be accomplished before the week is over and get my schedule set. I'm out of town at the beginning of next week.
Have a good day ladies.
Good morning!
I was also out sick yesterday and dragged myself back in today. Yesterday/last night was pretty quiet as far as trick or treaters go, we live in a secured building and I'm pretty sure there are zero children. I think we should adopt doggie trick or treating since everyone has dogs instead of kids.
Last night, H and I were woken up around 12:30 by some really loud screams outside. There are a couple of bars in our block and the crowd tends to get a little rowdy, especially on holidays, but this was really weird. We got up and peered out the window, and it was what looked like a guy trying to get his very drunk girlfriend into a cab and she was screaming and fighting him. It was really odd. We would have called the cops if they hadn't been there already. Then the bar crowd got super loud and it took forever to go back to sleep. I hate it when holidays fall on work nights. Yawn.
I'm happy November is here. It felt almost cold enough to snow this morning!

Last night was a lot of fun. Tillman got oodles of candy. I indulged. I hope I can control myself today.
I have been doing some Christmas shopping online the past couple days and I'm really enjoying it.
James's birthday is Friday. I need to bake a cake.
Tman is getting his photos done today. He's really photogenic so I'm excited to see how they are going to turn out.
We are starting a budget belt tightening today. We owe just under 8K on our truck which is our only car payment and my car is starting it's dissent, I think. SO, we need to get the truck paid off so we can start saving for a new car for me. I want a new-to-me Lincoln Town Car or a Ford Flex. I love giant cars.
TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.
so i got home last night just in time for one group of trick o treaters. We had a few at work. i miss the good ole days. I was good and didn't have any candy yesterday, since i splurged all weekend. Halloween oreos were my downfall
Made an AWESOME mac and cheese last night. Cooking the macaroni in milk and a bit of butter really makes a difference. We used soy cheese and it was yum!
Im finishing up my coffee and headed for the gym...
this is awesome, yes!

Happy Tuesday!
I'm exhausted this morning. I went out with my nephews last night and me and one of my nephews literally ran to every house. My other nephew is a baby and so he was in the car with his mom and she followed me and the other. I didn't have to go tot he gym last night so that was good.
I slept like crap last night. I woke up at about 140 with the worst stomach ache ever.. i couldn't fall back asleep until almost 3...
when my alarm went off this morning I almost wanted to cry.
Hope the rest of the day gets better! Enjoy your tuesday!
love it!
Happy November!
I didn't have any Trick-or-Treaters at home last night, but a few dozen kids came through the office yesterday. There were so many cuties in adorable costumes, it almost gave me baby fever, almost
I have a ton of leftover Halloween candy at work, I think I'll just put it out for people to grab.

I had an EXHAUSTING day yesterday (12+ hours) and was so busy this past weekend that I didn't get much sleep. So last night when I got home I didn't set an alarm and slept a good 10.5 hours
Just got to work - have some things to do, but I feel SO much better now that my body got to sleep 'naturally', I wish I could do that every day!

Happy Tuesday! Yesterday a friend and I rented kiln time in Everett and slumped a bunch of wine bottles for Christmas gifts. (http://www.glassartbydawn.com/slumped.htm
I drove for the first time too in almost 2 weeks! The rest of the day was spent running errands. I found a ton of stuff at Goodwill for my moms birthday party. A little paint and I have some matching frames! I also started painting a picture for our bathroom I saw on pinterest. I don't know what is with me and crafts lately!
ETA: Not one trick or treater in this house =(
Seconded!
Happy November!!
We didn't get a single trick-or-treater last night.
I am for sad, but I guess that's what we get for living in a cul-de-sac.
Oh, well.
Tonight is our first childbirth class, and I've decided to do a lot of projects in November instead of writing for NaNoWriMo, so we'll see what-all gets done!
First project for today: Make up a hyooooge list of freezer-meals to make and (ideally) make up the grocery list for 'em. I'm NOT doing a major shopping run today, though -- I'll go tomorrow morning, when the grocery store is dead empty, lol. And then perhaps start cooking tmw afternoon! We'll see.
OH OH OH
And my friend who's exactly a trimester ahead of me is in labour today! So keeping her (and her baby and her husband!) in my thoughts today.
We had trick or treaters starting around 6, and i got tired of it around 815 (ok, way earlier, but that's when i turned out the lights). I don't really like answering the door b/c our dog barks at knocking, but dh loves it, so i caved. Then at 530 he decided to try his hand at canning... for the first time. So i did all the door answering while he fought with jars and ran out to get a missing ingredient (uhm, b/c he didn't read the recipe before embarking on the project). I love his enthusiasm, his timing and preparation leave a bit to be desired, though.
TOTers were super cute this year, and for the most part polite. There were fewer purchased costumes, and more "cobbled" costumes, which i like -- i think half the fun of Halloween is the challenge of putting together a costume creatively. B/c we turned out the lights early we also didn't get a bunch of too-old TOTs bearing pillow cases, but lacking costumes.
Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
Happy Tuesday! Our evening was uneventful. We watched movies and had exactly zero trick-or-treaters. Yay, more Butterfingers for me.
DH and I finally discussed how I've been feeling lately about everything - meaning my being resentful of his family visits after M was born, and the fact that I'm not quite over the way M was born and everything. His mom noticed I haven't been "myself" lately when they've visited, and she asked him if I was okay... he told her I was just tired (which I truly was that day), and I guess that sufficed for now. DH has yet to really understand what I'm going through - I don't think he ever will. And as long as he's siding with his family (he says he's on my side, but I don't think he really is), I don't see this getting any better anytime soon. Wow, sorry for the heavy...
Have a great rest of the week, everyone!
