Halloween Party Recap
So, last night was our annual Halloween party, and it snowed at least a foot. We also lost power at about 4:30pm.
Luckily, some of our family still showed up, and we were able to all hang out by candle light. We also got to do our costume contest (SIL won, she was a christmas tree). We were bummed because we went all out with decorations this year (as much as our small appt. would allow), and we even had black lights and lots of cool stuff...however, with no power, we couldn't hook anything up.
We're still without power, and they're saying the outages are much worse than Hurricane Irene. Boooo. We're staying with my parents right now.

we're still without power. the electric company estimated 7 days without power, but they haven't even gotten to our town to assess the damage yet.
it's actually really scary to even drive anywhere, especially when you can still see huge branches just hanging on powerlines. ughh...sooo much worse than the hurricane.
