How many Trick or Treaters did you have?
We had about 35, which is pretty average. We live in an older neighborhood. Our across the street neighbors have all of their cousins and such over. That was the biggest group, probably 15-17 kids. We had another big group of 10 and then some neighborhood families.
Re: How many ToT's
I didn't count, but our numbers are definitely going down. Next year, I'm only buying one big bag of candy and that's it. I don't think we even had any ToT's after 8pm. We live on a road that has two cul-de-sacs and we think most families stuck to the main road through the subdivision. We've joked about putting big light-up signs on the main road directing people to come our way.
The kids that came by made a killing though. We all sat in one of the cul-de-sacs with lawn chairs lined up like we do every year. This time, we set the candy out in front of us, so all they had to do was go down the line and help themselves.
two groups...and the look of sheer PANIC on our faces when the doorbell rang before we left for dinner was priceless.
note to self:: don't forget to turn the light off....

Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Holy moses! That's a lot!
I left work an hour early to beat traffic. I home at around 5 and started passing out candy and ran out(of candy) in about an hour and a half. I was glad most of the earlier TOTers were younger kids so they got their candy. I did have a few older kids without costumes but not too many. I believe they must have come around later but I turned my lights out so they didn't ring my bell. I live in the city and my development is newer so people park on my street and let their kids go around my development. I really like it. I asked the kids what schools they attended and they were from all over the Southern part of Atlanta.
