2) The cookie gtg!! I'm already scouring the internets and holiday magazine for recipes.
3) The meatloaf I'm making for dinner tonight...yum.

Re: things I'm looking forward to:
1) Thanksgiving (3 days off from work!) and Christmas (TWO WEEKS, one of them paid! I can't wait)
2) Going to the library after work and meeting up with friends tonight
3) Taking DH to Medieval Madness for his birthday in a couple weeks (which reminds me, must call and make reservations)
Hell to the yes! I was thinking about trying to organize another weeknight GTG at the Uptown. Would that work?
1) FRIDAY. It's my day off and I have a sh!t ton of errands and chores I've been putting off. I can't wait to have a day to myself to just check things off a list.
2) The lasagna leftovers in my fridge. I don't want to oversell it, but I made The Best Lasagna EVER this weekend.
3) Glee tonight!
the pot roast that is in my crockpot right now. it is made with guinness and so, so good!
trying out a new stylist next week (thanks again for the recs, i went with mrs.erin's because her hair texture sounds the most similar to mine)
being in spain three weeks from right now!
-my work should be ending soon. on one hand, I'll be down a paycheck. on the other hand, i'll have ample time to work on my portfolio & get involved in some networking things that should help job prospects in the spring.
-thanksgiving. it's my favorite holiday everrrrrrrr!!!!
-i'm going to make split pea soup tomorrow night & i'm really stoked. i love split pea soup so much!

"What is a week-end?"
- getting together with a friend (hopefully this weekend) to catch up on life
- Breaking Dawn!! We'll probably see it the day after it comes out.
- having next Friday off
- seeing both my parents and in-laws for Thanksgiving
Planning Bio
1) A law school friend coming to visit this weekend.
2) Moving in 2 short weeks
3) Getting excited about Thanksgiving!
Stand up for something you believe in.
1) A friend being in town this weekend and having some fun shenanagians.
2) Going to New Orleans in 10 days for a long weekend because 11/11 is a fed holiday and I will use my AWS day that next Monday (11/14).
3) Going to Columbus the weekend after that for an Ohio State game! Can't wait for that!
Going to NYC this weekend. I'm only there for 24 hours, but it's been at least two years so I'm overdue. Plus, hours on the train to read in peace and quiet!!! (That may be more exciting to me than the concert we're going to see.)
My boss is OOT for the rest of the week, so I'm hoping for some peace and quiet at work too.
Getting home to put on a slip before dinner :P I totally forgot that tights plus an unlined dress = dress bunching up everytime I move. Even though I was just talking to a coworker about it two weeks ago.
I'm taking two days off work this week, and then I am taking Thanksgiving week off and the week before Christmas!
1) Digging into leftover Halloween candy. I may or may not have intentionally put my favorites at the bottom of the bucket...
2) Vacation in less than three weeks.
3) Having DH finish up with his conference and come back home tomorrow. I need someone other than the dog to keep me warm at night!

1. working from home on Wednesday.
2. going to see the boob surgeon and getting the results. While I certainly hope they are good, at this point, I just friggin' want to know so I can stop pretending like I'm not thinking about it all.the.time.
3. getting the manager position that will report to me, posted. soon. please. like on thursday would be great. bc I am dying with the new responsbilities on top of my old ones. like, it's 7:10pm and I am back online at home to work for another three hours, kinda of dying. (gallows humor, given #2 above)

2. Celebrating our 12th Annual Functional Family Thanksgiving in 2 weeks (my "chosen" family of friends, yay)
3. Seeing "The Muppets" when it comes out on Nov. 23rd!!!!
