    depends on how many people and how much pp u are willing to spend.  we were down for the britney concert in august and couldn't touch a room for less than 400...which i think is freaking nuts for ac.  i guess it depends on the event that wknd. the trop is ok to stay for the rooms, but good for location of activites in the casino, but if the borgata is around teh same price or a few $ more, go for it.  there is no comparison

    IVe stayed at resorts and golden nugget (which may have a new name now) both were fine. Resorts was nicer but I was in the remodeled tower.

    The rooms in the Tower at the Chelsea are really nice and because it's not a casino, I've found the pricing to be really good.  Chelsea is kind of in a weird place though at the very south end of the boardwalk which is the only thing that's kind of annoying.  It's next to the Trop but it makes everything else seem far away.
