In the spring I posted about switching my face products. I think it was MM that recommended Body Shop and I really liked that. Now that the air is much more dry my skin is parched. The moisterizer I've been using isn't doing the trick. The line from the Body Shop that I'm using doesn't have another moisturizer.
Do you change your moisturizer/face wash in the winter? To what?
Re: Face care - winter
Hey there! I have always used (and LOVE) Olay products-the Regenerist line. BUT...I have found a new love. Have you tried Origins?? I tried the VitaZing tinted moisturizer after seeing great reviews on several blogs. I LOVE it! Sephora has Origins now and you can get 20% off through tomorrow by signing up for Friends & Family.

I am also going to try some of their other products. I've heard great things about the Plantscription anti-aging serum.
I love the yes to line. I use yes to carrots and yes to blueberries.

I also love their shampoo and conditioner. You can get this at Target or Ulta.
I'm also a regenerist fan. I LOVE the night recovery cream, especially in winter. I've found that time of day makes a big difference for me in whether my skin dries out. I use regenerist products and do all my skin care/cleansing before I go to bed, when skin goes into recovery and repair mode (or so I've read). I also use a small bedroom humidifier on winter nights. In the morning, all I do is apply a light moisturizer. Since I made the switch, my skin is healthier and dries out less.
I use Philosophy for my wash and moisturizer. I use Hope in a Jar SPF 25 year round. It seems thick, but you need hardly anything at all to get the job done. I primarily use it after I wash my face when it is already a bit damp.

I'm an Origins girl-- I find that switching things up too much wrecks my skin, or confuses it (same difference).
During the winter, though, I use this. It works along with my other "A Perfect World" items, as they're designed to be used in conjunction. They have a bunch of anti-aging products as well...
