Yup, I am going there already! If I don't start planning now it will be here! Anyway, I offered to have my parents come down here because I thought it was our 'off' year with my brother and his family. Well, it turns out I was wrong and now I might have 21 people (that is just my parents, siblings, and their kids) in my tiny, TINY house! So...what are some of your favorite fun thanksgiving foods...I would LOVE to knock their socks off :-)
Re: Thanksgiving!
Some of my favorite recipes are from Pioneer Woman.

Pear Crisp: (I substitute apples)

I have a few recipes in my blog with a Thanksgiving Tag - I'd recommend the Frosty Pumpkin Desert (which I believe came from Nestie - Ashley&Scott?). It's really good!
I'm making this and think it sounds really good (and easy):
Sausage & Focaccia Stuffing w/ Sundried Tomatoes.
Last year was the first time I hosted Thanksgiving and I made Alton Brown's brined turkey and it was delicious! And the gravy from the drippings was the best gravy I think I have ever had. Yummy!

We also usually have macaroni corn casserole which is always a big hit. Just combine a stick of melted butter, a cup of macaroni (uncooked), a can of corn (undrained), a can of creamed corn, and a cup of velveeta (I've also seen this recipe with cheddar but have never tried it) in a casserole dish and bake covered at 325 for 45-60 min (until noodles are cooked).

Sounds like DH's family. His sister gets irked if there's a family dinner without them.
I'm no help with any other suggestions, my family just does the usual stuff. My mom has a cheesy corn casserole that's pretty good but I don't think it would blow anyone away.
