Apparently I fell asleep during Geometry b/c I can't make any sense of what I need to do for this project.
I have exhibit A: My chair (sorry it's tiny).
The picture doesn't show this very well but the legs kind of taper out like so:

I bought this b/c I need a small rectangular stool so I planned to whack the legs off when I got it (the chair was on sale and I had a JCP giftcard). I've whacked the legs down 2 or 3 times (as practice so they're not as short as I need them) and I can't figure out what angle I need to cut them on using a miter saw. Right now they're all wobbly and don't lay flat on the floor. Why is this so hard?!?@?! I think I'm making this hard.
I swear it's always the simple projects that leave me pulling my hair out.

Re: Angle Help
Errrrr....
I would look at Ana White's website....she usually has plans with correct angles for "tilty" legs like that.
Good luck...geometry is NOT my thing!
Just what I was thinking ...
