glee 11/01 (possible spoiler if you haven't watched this season)

I don't like the whole Quinn/Puck taking their baby back plot line.

Re: glee 11/01 (possible spoiler if you haven't watched this season)

  • yeah it's almost as ridiculous as how they just gave Shelby their baby a couple of hours after the birth without any due process/lawyers/social workers, etc.

  • I agree.  It's so stupid!

I was just telling MH tonight that I would like Glee a lot more if they left out all the stupid dramatic story lines.  I also hate the "Waaah!  I don't get enough attention!  Poooor me, I'm going to leave the glee club."

  • The ridiculousness of the adoption storyline is part of the reason why I stopped watching Glee.  I am adopting and take it seriously, and the plot this year would've really peed me off, so I am glad I'm skipping it.

    So glad.

  • this episode did not do it for me.

things that are annoying me about this season:

-the songs, I haven't downloaded a single one, last year I downloaded almost every one.  Bad song choices this year

-Sue STILL trying to take down the glee club, seriously? let's move on already writers

-People constantly quitting and re-joining glee clulb, seriously? let's move already writers

-Shelby being back, the screwy adoption crap, and now Puck in an inappropriate relationship with a teacher, awesome.

-Rachel still being a grade A biotch

in general, the lack of character growth and development

I agree 110%. This show had so much promise and so much talent, but the writing is just sofreakingawful that I'm prepared to give up watching. Very sad.

  • Not the greatest episode but I am just glad my show is back and cannot wait for next weeks episode.

Either Quinn is stupid or the writers are. Even if CPS takes Beth away from Shelby they aren't giving her back to you Quinn, that's not how it works.

When I was in high school we did a crapload of fundraising for everything, this show acts like its some rare strange thing.

Glad we actually got to see Carol. I loved the family dinner at the end. Loved Finn's "anyone mind if I dig in?" to that heart attack on a plate.

Sue still bugs this season but I am glad she finally remembers that the reason she wanted to run for election was due to her sister.

I wanted Rory to get a nice big green slushie to the face. I miss the slushies.

I think I am going to pretend this Shelby/Puck storyline isn't happening.

Not sure who is harder to understand, Rory or Brittany

Loved Brittany on her date with Santana "Wait, isn't this a date? Aren't you paying? Because I ordered shrimp!"

I thought the Last Friday Night scene was fun. Not the greatest song but I love when the whole gang is dancing together and having fun (well, besides Santana)

I'm glad that they didn't drop Finn being jealous of Blaine but I am glad someone called him out on it.

How nice that Finn's step dad thinks of him as a Lima Loser too

Puck can keep his shirt off as long as he likes.

    Oh yes!

I actually really liked this episode. I'm enjoying every storyline EXCEPT crazy Quinn trying to take the baby back. I'm glad Puck went back and got all of the crap she put in Shelby's apartment. I even don't mind the shelby/puck storyline.

Honestly, they're in high school. In true to life high school there's not much "character development"  unless they're developing how easily they can get into each other's pants.

ETA: I'm loving the new guy. I hope they keep him around longer than his promised 7 episodes.

  • This is definitely my least favorite plot line. Not only is it unrealistic and delusional (and who knows what kind of real world consequences it could have for teens who've adopted out babies and now think they should try to get them back), it's just mean and stupid.
