What's your favorite side side? - dressing. my husband doesn't like it so it's the only time I get to eat it!
Favorite dessert? - pecan pie. yum.

What do you make for Thanksgiving? - it depends. if we go to my sister's I make the mashed potatoes, the dressing, the corn casserole, and the pies. If we stay home I make everything.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? - I'm not sure yet. We had planned to go to my sister's, but I recently learned that her MIL threw a fit about it because BIL's siblings are going to be in town this year. So, we might be ousted. If we are, I'll just cook us a small meal at home, just the three of us. We can't go OOT because Guy has to work that night.

Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? For the actual Thanksgiving we go to my inlaws. This year the week before Thanksgiving we are hosting a PreThanksgiving Meal with all of our close friends

What's your favorite side side? Big M's stuffing. Doug and I are currently battling who's recipe we'll use this year, his mom's or Big M's.
Favorite dessert? I just came across a recipe for Swedish Apple Pie last month. I love it - it's going to become a Thanksgiving staple.
What side dish do you hate? Butternut squash (is that the orange stuff with cinnamon? Gross).
What do you make for Thanksgiving? Typically, an appetizer for my parents house and a dessert for my in-laws house.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? We're hosting this year. Doug wanted to do a HUGE family ordeal and have over 60+ people. However, everyone is so set in their ways and their traditions that it will just be our 2 immediate families. This is the one and only year I plan to ever host Thanksgiving. We'll go back to appetizers at my parents house and dinner and dessert at my in laws next year.
What's your favorite side side? broccoli casserole -- mo mom makes it, and it's seriously the best thing ever.
Favorite dessert? A local bakery makes this amazing white chocolate mousse and pumpkin pie. Nom.

What's your favorite side? Sweet potatoes! I also love butternut squash. What's with all you sweet potato and squash haters?!
Favorite dessert? Apple pie or pumpkin cheesecake! (I like making my pumpkin as unhealthy as possible.)
What side dish do you hate? That cranberry crap. Yuck. (And I usually LIKE cranberries!)
What do you make for Thanksgiving? Apple pie or cheesecake and green bean casserole. I'm going to try to make a gourmet green bean casserole this year with haricot verts.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? Probably having my parents and H's parents (ugh) over to our house since a lot of family will be out of town this year.
What's your favorite side side? - can I say them all! we have a lot of canned veggies with our Thanksgiving so we have corn, green been casserole, stuffing, sweet pots, mashed taters, oh Lord I am hungry

What side dish do you hate? I dont really hate any of them... I prefer sweet potato casserole vs. sweet potatoes with marshmallows. that is just weird to me. Mark's mom makes scalloped oysters and its gross. I guess its just weird to me.
What do you make for Thanksgiving? between Mark and I we make a lot of food- shrimp pate, ham, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes

What's your favorite side? - Stuffing! Mashed potatoes are very close but I make those frequently and stuffing is pretty much restricted to Thanksgiving because it's time consuming to make.
Favorite dessert? Anything that doesn't have pumpkin in it (sorry, I really hate pumpkin)
What side dish do you hate? Cranberries in general, but especially the weird gelatin kind that you wiggle out of the can...ewwwwww
What do you make for Thanksgiving? depends, when we hosted: everything, last year: appetizers, this year: making nothing but bringing good Lithuanian sausage from a butcher near our house per my dad's request and wine
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? We're making the trek from Chicago down to Jacksonville, FL to spend the holiday with both my dad part of the family and my mom and stepdad (how awesome is it that my divorced parents can get along enough to spend the holiday together?). Jay and I will spend the rest of the weekend in Jacksonville and are then going to meet my mom and stepdad down in DisneyWorld for 9 days for our first vacation in 2 years!
What's your favorite side? Cranberry relish! So yummy.

What's your favorite side side? pretty much all of them. But probably stuffing because it's the only time I eat it

What do you make for Thanksgiving? All of it! The turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, roased sweet potatoes, gravy, pies.
Are you hosting Thanksgiving this year or going to someones elses home? We stopped going home for Thanksgiving a few years ago, started doing it jsut for ourselves. Now the ILs come out for it. But I still do all the cooking with MIL's help.

Favorite dessert? My pumpkin cheesecake, but this year I'm revamping my apple pie and it's gonna kick some ass.
What side dish do you hate? I'm usually not crazy about greenbeans, but I'm coming around to it, same with gravy, I used to never even touch it, but I'll add it a little at a time to things.
What do you make for Thanksgiving? I've started just doing the whole thing, I went from being on Roll Patrol (so they don't burn because we all forget by the time everything is done), to making it all on my own (except for Crunch Time when it all comes together at the end, then Matt's mom and Nana help out too).
