We are pretty opposite, he is very introverted and I am very extroverted. We share the same interests in music and movies, and food and stuff like that. And when it comes to raising kids and discipline, we are pretty much on the same page. But when it comes to our personalities, very opposite.
DH and I are opposites! We're different races, grew up on different sides of the countries, have completely different families, culture, tradtion, I went to law school and he doesn't have a college degree, he's super laid back and chill, I'm completely Type A and stress out about everything, he's always late, I hate being late, etc. I don't think anyone would have matched us!
But, we do like the same kinds of music.
We enjoy same of the same TV and movies (we were obsessed with The Wire, 6 Feet Under and Dexter, but I like reality TV and sitcoms, he'd rather watch BET and parking wars).
We have similar goals for our life and our family, both really want kids.
We both are home bodies and are happy (most of the time) to spend a lazy Sunday at home cuddling and watching TV or movies.
We have some restaurants that we both love.
We both love our dog!
And I guess we're both really open to different people/experiences. He's open to being a part of my family and me his, even though they're very different. We will spend time with each others friends and try things the other likes.
Somewhere in the middle, i guess.
I've typed a few answers, but none of them really made sense... i don't really know.

We're very, very similar in most ways, personality-wise, though we've got a good mix of interests in common and interests apart, too.
He's an extrovert (but claims to not be very good at it); I'm an introvert (but very good at pretending to be an extrovert). That's fairly indicative of how we tend to "differ", personality-wise, LOL.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
We are complete opposites for the biggest part! he's and introvert and I'm an extrovert. He's a Chemistry geek I can't stand the stuff. I'm super crafty, he doesn't have a creative bone in his body. I'm neat, he's a messy kinda guy. I like to get things done, he likes to wait as long as possible.
Ummm no! haha but I wouldn't say that I could come up with 5 differences.
We both like to read and travel, and both of those would be on my top 5 list.

I think we're more similar than not. Raised with similar cultures (moms from Minnesota leads to a lot of similarities), very similar in views toward money, politics, etc. When it comes to our interests, I think of us like a Venn diagram where we have overlap in each category, but likes and preferences outside of that overlap. Example: movies, music, tv shows, games. We both like to cook but I like to bake much more. I'm the crafty one, he's better with numbers (because he enjoys them, ick). We both love animals. He likes sports while I could take or leave them. I enjoy shopping, he hates it.
We laughed for the longest time about how we're opposites in that, when one person was feeling all energetic, the other would be feeling tired. When one is super-cranky, the other is often in a good mood.
I think we have enough in common for a strong marriage, but enough differences that strengthen each other and allow us to also have some kind of separate identities.
