T&P again..
i was let go from my (main) job today. I have through the end of the month. there's no hard feelings...i knew it was coming. they need someone actually out in Cali to do the work and i've done all I can for them. still sucks for me though bc i was the main breadwinner in this family.
figuring out all my health benefits, etc going forward is going to be a biitch. H's coming is merging with another law firm in Jan and we have no clue how this will affect him. oh, and i need a kidney transplant...no big deal.
ugh...not a great day.

Did they say when you had to have your kidney transplant? Like can you wait until the merge to see how things go?

So I will work through the end of November and then i'll be done. The good news is that i found out that open enrollment for H's new company starts this month...so no wierd transfering from where i am now, to his current plan to his new plan. it will all just be normal and about the same price/less expensive. not sure about disability and stuff....i need to look into that for FMLA and all that fun stuff for when i have my surgery. i guess this really frees up my calendar to get the transplant (assuming i can find a donor).
thanks for your thoughts and prayers. i'm doing ok with it suprisingly...i feel like it was totally out of my control and it just is what it is. not the best timing, but hey, at least H has his job for now and Bennett and my H are healthy. thats all i care about.
