Parenthood 11/1

not done watching yet, but just want to say, I think Lauren Graham is so excellent on this show.  I loved her on Gilmore Girls but I love this side of her too.

Re: Parenthood 11/1

  • I agree, her acting is amazing and I generally like her character but right now it's really pushing my buttons.  I can't handle the co-dependency with Seth and it's really ruining the show for me.  Maybe because I watched my Mom do the same thing growing up, but I am really not enjoying this storyline. She was finally getting on track and so happy and now just getting pulled back down in his mess.  I thought Mark was adorable when she cancelled on him.  He tried to be understanding, but still sweetly stood up for himself when he told her it wouldn't be okay with him if this kept happening.

I thought Christina was hilarious when she kicked everybody out and took off in the van.  She's been sitting at home with the baby and just wanted time out of the house with her family.  I couldn't believe the way everyone was acting!

Julia got on my nerves last night with the way she reacted to seeing the pregnant girl eating sushi.  Should she have been eating it? No.  But seriously what person doesn't know that? It came across as condescending, but loved how she made it up to her by making her lunch and dinner.

I really feel for Crosby, although I can't stand Jasmine.  She's too controlling and treats him like a child.

I agree that she is a great actress, but I agree that her relationship with Seth is too much and I am going to hate to see her BF leave her b/c of it.  I disagree about Crosby.  He needs to take a big boy pill and grow up a little.  He needs to get over Jasmine.  Wasn't there a time when he was playing football w/ his son and one of his "girls" came over and met him?  If so, then he has a double standard.

  • I'm hoping that the Seth storyline doesn't drag on.  The story is reminding me of Lorelai and Christopher on Gilmore Girls.

  • I haven't watched last night's episode yet but I'm hoping Seth hits the road sooner rather than later.

    And BRING ALEX BACK!

I agree with wanting Seth gone. Even though I love John Corbett as an actor, I still see him as Aiden on SATC.

Alex was a great character, but no one should have to put up with dating Haddie. She is the most annoying character along with Amber. Ugh.

  • I am interested to see how Seth and Sarah play out.

Crosby needs to get OVER Jamsine!!!!! It's ridiculous.

Christina is overwhelmed. Why isn't the family helping her more?

I loved Max at the end apologizing then saying, "dad says sorry mom's losing it." LOL

Ditto. I LOVED gilmore girls and like Lauren Graham as an actress, but it just seems like she's kinda playing the same character.
