I don't have regular contact with ex-FI, I've made it a point to avoid it. This has included rejecting multiple FB friend requests, but every so often he will send messages that I never get in a hurry to respond to. This situation started about two weeks ago, and I'm hoping it's over for now. Ex-FI sent me a message on Facebook telling me that he's been in a relationship with someone for a few months now, and that things are getting serious. I'm thinking "Ok, good for you, but why do you feel like I need to know?" Then he goes on to tell me that his new SO wants to meet me, that he's met her ex-H, and that she should meet me. I haven't spoken to him in months, so I'm a little taken aback by this. I reply saying that I didn't think it was necessary, and that I wished him the best. I thought that was the end of it until a couple of days ago when I'm sitting in a drive-thru and hear this tapping on my passenger window. Turns out- ex-FI and his SO are in the car behind me, he recognized my car, and told her to go talk to me. She seemed nice enough, but she was going on about how "everyone has a past" and she understands that I'm part of his past, but he's a good person, and she hopes that I know that. Umm... ok? No, ex-FI wasn't a bad person, we just had a bad relationship. In reality, I know this situation isn't a big deal, it just kind of confused me, and I needed to rant.

Re: Ex-FI's odd request
That's really weird. Seriously.
agreed, I'd block her too, while you're at it.
This is a little too stalkerish for me. I could see if you had children together....maybe. But you weren't even married. I would've locked my windows and doors.
Agrees, these 2 are BSC. You dodged a bullet on that one!
Holy mother of god.
I'm usually one to have a reasonable explanation for everything, but FUCKINGRUN. Seriously. This whole thing is ten times of fuckedup.
