As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

We're taking the plunge
So DH and I have started the adoption process. It is going to be a long, painful process. It will be even more complicated due to the facts that I am a DCF employee and DH has a criminal record. His charges are benign and from 15 yrs ago, but they will still put us through the ringer.
I could use any T&P/vibes you could send our way. We will need it.

Good luck! It can be a long and trying process but it's good that you know that going in and the outcome...well what could be better than giving a child a loving home and starting your family.
Have you guys thought about fostering at all? I don't know if you can because of your job but here in IL we have a lot of workers who are also foster parents and they're amazing.
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
