My Dr.'s office made me stabby this morning. I called this morning because I'm supposed to have an appointment
with my OB. I never got my reminder phone call last night so I thought I
better check and see if I actually did. She's looking on her scheduler
and can't find me, listed for an appointment today. Then she goes the
long way around just puts in my name... finally it shows up I have an
appointment with my OB's PAC.
Now I'm ticked because every other
appointment is supposed to be with my OB and my last one was with the
PAC, which meant I should have seen my OB today. Apparently not..
someone screwed up, because even my appointment card says that I'm
supposed to have an appointment with my OB.
End vent
ETA: I'm over my vent.. see Dr appointment post.

Re: Vent: So annoyed.
If I had $1 for every time my dr's office messed up my appointment I'd be rich. I think when you interview for the job at their office their first question is, "Are you disorganized?" Yes? YOU GOT THE JOB!
I hope my new doctor is better at this. Sorry yours was all messed up this morning.
That stinks. Try going to a military treatment facility, you never see the same person twice, even if it's your assigned doctor, I've been pretty lucky in my 2 years here, I have gotten to see my PCP more times than not, but it's not the norm. I am so not looking forward to the care when pregnant, I am sure I won't ever see the same person twice and am seriously considering switching to their other insurance option so I can try to get at least some kind of continuity of care with a civilian provider, yet I hear the hospital I would possibly deliver at under my current plan is way better than any others, so I'm torn. Don't get me wrong, our insurance is awesome and I have never paid a dime for anything, but the continuity of care sucks.
Hopefully you'll get in to see the OB at your next appointment.
