Can we do a "do you have a themed tree?" post here?
For all the ornament exchangers (or even those that decided not to participate).
I know we can ask on Elfster, but this seems easier to start off than everyone sending secret messages.

Re: Can we do a "do you have a themed tree?" post here?
I'll start!
We do not have a themed tree. We have ornaments from childhood, every place we've lived/vacationed, random picks, etc. It's a huge mishmash and I love it.
Same with us. Little bit of everything.
Light (not heavy) are best for us since we have a fake and weak tree.
weird! i was just going to post something like this! not a themed tree post but a, "leave clues for your elfster to figure out what to buy you" type post.
i don't have a themed tree but things i like... cats, monograms (letter D), ornaments with the year, reindeer, rocking horses, birds, stars. i don't like disney/pixar/cartoon characters.
No theme for us. I do have a lot of penguin and snowmen ornaments as I really like both of those. Traditional colors, not really a fan of pastels.
My Profile
Im not usually a gold person, but I have quite a bit of it on our tree. WE have gold garland and gold bows. Our ornaments are ones that we have both been collecting through out the years.
My favorite ornament is a little hand blown glass frog I got when we were in Bermuda a few years ago.
Not that I am doing the exchange, but ours is not themed. There are quite a few Disney ornaments though but it isn't a theme.
No theme here either. We have a bunch of the typical shiny red/green/blue/purple ball ornaments that you buy in packs. We've also got a lot of random figurine-ish ones too. I like ornaments you can put pictures in, especially this year since it'll be "baby's first Christmas". I got one last year in the exchange and put a picture of our dog who passed away in it. It'll be nice to get it out again and see his mug.
We have a mini LSU tree that's tiny so the stuff couldn't be too big haha
And then our main tree the theme is mostly teals, fucia's, purples, and then like icesiclely color?? and some fluer de lis'
We do have some stuff that say our names which would be fine too.
I'd prefer no disney that actually says disney (last year koko got me this awesome micky ears that had H's, Ava's, and my name on there and it was in a cool teal color with silver writing so it totally fit the theme and wasn't all disney in my face) or anything else for that matter that's branding.
If it had to do with New Orleans that would be ok though haha
No theme here either. And nothing is off limits. Except crude stuff.
I like having a big mish mash of ornaments - it's fun to hang them all and remember why we have each one. Even if it was just because it was pretty and I bought it at Target for 75% off. lol We have lots of balls (bulbs?) that I am phasing out as we get more unique ornaments.
great. there goes my idea.
Keep your penis ornament for yourself.
