Walmart fabric is back

Thought I'd share with y'all that several of the Walmarts around here are restocking/bringing back their fabric section so y'all can check yours.  Not exactly the best fabrics, but its something if you're in a pinch.

    I'm from a small town and the only place to buy fabric was walmart and then they took it out.  I moved to a bigger city but my mom still lives there.  If she needs ANYTHING to sew thread, a needle, buttons, etc, she has to drive the 45 miles to our city to buy something.  She said they brought back a small selection of fabric, so hopefully they have all the necessities to go with it too!  She'll be so thrilled

    Mine kept theirs, but we keep getting more.  They do have the largest selection of character fabric of anywhere I can shop, plus they have a nice selection of $2 a yard fabric, some of which is home dec fabric, that is great for muslins.  And the ladies who work at my walmart in fabric are just as nice as the ladies in my lqs.

    I noticed it back here a few months ago, it is not as big as it used to be. The clearance fabric selection is also smaller (although that could be because they just brought it back and don't have enough to clearance out yet). I love that I can find different team fabrics there that I can't find at JoAnns!

    I have been to the Walmart all 4 times in the past two years. Since they took the fabric out. They are turning it into a Super Walmart now. I should go and see if they brought back the fabric. I literally use to buy $50 to $100 of fabric there a month back in the day. I love the clearance fabric. ( I had a boutique to keep stocked with clothing)
