Best sound ever: baby's heartbeat! (Heard @ 10w1d)
Re: Love Language
A friend of mine was telling me about this, and i thought of it when Niq posted about the Happiness Project book. I thought it was more "How do i communicate love" than "how to i best receive love communication" so that threw me a bit, but i think that probably makes more sense, anyway. The wording on a lot of the questions made it hard to answer at first b/c a lot of them ask about one's partner's actions, not one's preference about those actions. It still could be a useful tool to think about how we best communicate love with our partners.
Mine is quality time, followed by physical touch. This seems about right.

jumped ship to the new and improved nest. back to TB for baby boards.
Mine was also words of affirmations. I always love hearing DH telling me I look nice, especially when I feel like crap.
I don't think we're pitiful jenn!

my H's is words of affirmation too!
that's cute--boys need love too
i don't need my h to take the quiz-- judging by the q's we got i know he'll be the one that wants me to cleanup after him w/o being asked. and if i make him take the quiz he might just be resentful that i don't hahaha

I think a lot of men will have this as theirs, because men need to feel appreciated, by being told that they are strong.. helpful... etc etc. ... it just is who they are!

I'm words of affirmation first. Then acts of service. Then gifts. Then physical touch. Then quality time.
D's is quality time. Physical touch. acts of service. Words of affirmation. and Gifts. :P
