Vent: my sister is driving me crazy
She recently entered into an "at home business" selling Shaklee products and she sends multiple emails, texts, FB messages, etc. DAILY. I talked to our other sisters/friends and they're getting the same thing. Only thing is I'm too nice to tell her to shove it, lol.
It's like Amway, which I'm sure you've all heard of. She thinks she's going to "make her first million." EYEROLL!!
Re: Vent: my sister is driving me crazy
These types of things always put friends and loved ones in a difficult position. I received a call a few weeks ago from a female friend of DH's who is now selling skin care products. She sent me samples, etc. I appreciate the fact that she's going out on a limb by approaching people like this, but c'mon...I get my expensive skin care stuff at Sephora. And I REFUSE to host a party to pressure what few friends I have.
Hopefully she'll lighten up soon! Has she done any of these types of businesses before?
This made me LOL.
Maybe you say something supportive and then say, can you send me weekly updates instead of daily updates?
You know, good with the bad.
I finally told her that I would not host a party, but that I'd be happy to attend one and check things out. Their stuff is expensive though! We already use a lot of natural products... that are MUCH cheaper. So, although I'm all for supporting family I'm more for saving my money.
Our crazy, wonderful life
It's actually a really really really cheap product depending on what you buy. If I were to suggest anything it would be just a bottle of the Basic H. It cleans a lot of things but for example it's $8 for a bottle of Basic H and if you use it make your window cleaner it will make you what's equal to 5,800 bottles of Windex. Heck, even if you're using vinegar to do your windows you're still coming out way ahead on price. It's honestly the best thing I've found to clean windows so it's a plus that it actually works well too.
I probably sound like your sister but I just wanted to give you a suggestion of what to try if you did go to the party
