We finally got the approval on the short sale we put an offer on back in August - YAY!! It's painted a rainbow of colors right now so I would like to find a neutral color to paint the whole house until I decide exactly how I want to decorate. I thought maybe you ladies would have some favorites you could share. So far I really like Sherwin Williams kilim beige with marshmallow trim. Open to other ideas though! Thanks!
We also need some good vibes for getting our current house rented!

Re: paint
Congrats on your new house and best of luck renting your other one. I really like the main color you picked out. A nice warm nuetral. I like the trim color too, but (on my computer anyways) it looks like it has a cool undertone. How do the swatches look side by side?

PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
The MLS pics are super blurry and yucky. I will post pictures soon! Our living room furniture is a light khaki with dark wood. I?m a little afraid that the beige will make everything blend in too much, but I don?t know what other neutral would work.
Tasha ? to me, the marshmallow doesn?t appear to have cool undertones, but I don?t have a decorators eye at all.
Jen ? I didn?t get that email. I would love it! My email is tiugether at gmail dot com. Thank you!!
Thanks for your input. Choosing a paint color is so difficult. I usually like to live in a place before deciding, but the colors on the walls are so hideous they have to go immediately.
Congrats on the house! How exciting!
I love the kilim beige, I would actually like that on my walls, the color we have right now is much too dark for our house because we don't have any widows in the living room. I also do like the marshmallow trim, but I'm partial to a plain white or a bright white, just keeping in mind how much painting trim sucks and that the tone might not go with your colors you choose down the road and you may end up having to paint it again. White goes with everything and flows well from room to room reguardless of what color you choose. But then again, my house is one of those rainbow houses that we will definately have to turn neutral again to try and sell eventually. I also needed the bright white to brighten up the dark color on our walls (which I didn't pick out, H and his mom did while I was working one night. Grr. They described it on the phone as light peanut butter but it's definatley dark pea soup.)
